Norstar System Programming

When getting tech support over the phone, or getting ready to attempt some system programming on your own, you NEED to understand how to navigate through the menu's of the Norstar Phone system.

Programming must be done from a phone that has the 3 softkeys below the LCD display.

When entering programming mode there are 4 buttons that you will be using, and you need to be able to identify them. They are usually the top 2 buttons of the 2 rows of buttons on your phone as illustrated below.

The Bottom Right button (within the yellow box in the picture) is the NEXT key
The button above that (Top right) is the SHOW key
The bottom left button is the BACK key
and the button above that is the HEADING button (I call it ESCAPE)

By simply knowing these buttons, over the phone we can help you with lots of issues by being able to tell you to press NEXT, NEXT, SHOW, etc etc etc ...
